Explaining George Brown’s Strategy 2030.
I turned George Brown’s strategy report into a nine-page microsite that explains the plan to students, employees, partners, and communities.
- Assignment
- Explain Strategy 2030 on the web
- My contribution
- I developed the page structure, copy, FAQs, and search metadata
- Wider role
- Web content, course descriptions, internal communications, and more

What I wrote
I developed the content and structure for all nine microsite pages: the homepage, background, development process, three priorities, progress reporting, impact stories, and FAQs. I also updated the Strategy 2026 page to explain how the previous plan relates to Strategy 2030.
I used the strategy report and project resources to write the copy, organize each page, and develop headings, search titles, descriptions, and calls to action. For the FAQs, I combined questions from the president with questions I developed.
How I explained the strategy
I explained what each commitment means for the people it affects. I kept the official outcomes and added clear headings and explanations so readers can understand the priorities and why they matter.
I developed the content independently, then incorporated new information from the strategy team, my manager, and updated project documents.
From strategy language to clear web copy.
I kept the official commitment and added a heading and explanation that show partners what it means for them.
What the strategy report says
“Strengthen George Brown’s institutional partnership capacity.”
How I explain it on the page
Making it easier to work together
“Partners need to know who to contact, how decisions are made, and how to keep projects moving forward.”
